Part 2 :: Open Pottery Time
Join Jackie Thomas for a creative two-part ceramic birdhouse workshop using handbuilding techniques to craft two one-of-a-kind clay birdhouses — one small and one large!
In Part One, students will design and build both birdhouses from clay while learning foundational handbuilding skills in a fun, relaxed studio environment.
After the first class, Olio will fire your greenware pieces in our kiln. You’ll then return for Part Two during an Open Pottery session to glaze your birdhouses in your favorite colors and finishes.
Once glazed and fired a second time, Olio will contact you when your finished ceramic birdhouses are ready for pickup. These charming handmade birdhouses make beautiful garden accents, thoughtful gifts, or unique decorative pieces for your home or patio. No experience necessary — all skill levels welcome!
Projects included: one small ceramic birdhouse and one large ceramic birdhouse.
