In this fun and creative class, kids will learn the art of needle felting as they design and craft their very own wool clutch bag!
Students will begin by sketching a design of their choice on a sheet of felt—plenty of inspiration and examples will be provided. Using colorful wool roving, special needles, and wool mats, they’ll needle felt their design to life, then sew the sides together and add a snap closure to finish their functional work of art.
Kids will be guided step-by-step as they learn basic felting and sewing techniques. The result? A soft, textured clutch that makes a wonderful handmade gift—or a special keepsake just for them!
All levels welcome. Appropriate for kids ages 9 - 14 years old.
