Explore your creativity in our Creative Clay Studio! Work independently on handbuilding, glazing, decorating, carving, trimming, or pottery wheel projects in a relaxed studio setting.

Reserve your Creative Clay Studio time online in 1-hour increments.
Choose:
Table Space — up to 8 artists
Pottery Wheel — up to 4 artists

All skill levels are welcome for table-based projects, including handbuilding, glazing, decorating, carving, and hand trimming.
Children ages 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult unless prior approval has been given.

Saturday pottery wheel reservations are for experienced wheel users only.
Saturday staff/instructors may not be available to provide pottery wheel instruction or assistance. Artists reserving a pottery wheel should be comfortable working independently and must have completed Intro to the Pottery Wheel or have prior pottery wheel experience.
New to the pottery wheel? Please register for an Intro to the Pottery Wheel class before reserving Saturday wheel time.
By reserving a pottery wheel on Saturday, you are confirming that you meet these experience requirements and can work independently on the wheel.

Aprons and shared studio tools are available.
Only clay purchased at Olio or clay that has received prior instructor approval may be used in the Ceramics Studio.
Clay fees are separate from the hourly studio fee, as applicable.

Creative Clay Studio reservations are made online in 1-hour increments.
When booking, choose the workspace you need:
Table Space — For handbuilding, glazing, decorating, carving, or trimming by hand. Limited to 8 artists per hour.
Pottery Wheel — For throwing, wheel trimming, or practicing your skills. Limited to 4 artists per hour. Saturday wheel reservations are for experienced, independent wheel users only.
Need more than one hour? Reserve consecutive time slots for the amount of studio time you need.

Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled according to Olio's cancellation policy.
Because studio space and pottery wheels are limited, please cancel as soon as possible if you are unable to attend so the space can be made available to another artist.

Please arrive ready to begin during your reserved time.
Your reservation includes your work and clean-up time, so please plan to have your workspace and tools cleaned before your reservation ends.
Artists are expected to follow all Ceramics Studio procedures and staff/volunteer instructions.
