Discover the colorful world of fused glass while creating jewelry that's uniquely you!
Whether you're looking for a fun night out, a creative new hobby, or a handmade gift, this beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to fused glass. Anthony will guide you through the basics of glass fusing as you learn how to cut, layer, and design colorful glass pieces.
Each participant will have a 3" × 3" workspace in the kiln, giving you the opportunity to create several one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Using a variety of vibrant glass, frit, stringers, and decorative accents, you'll design wearable art including earrings, necklaces, and rings. Once your pieces have been kiln-fired, you'll choose your preferred jewelry findings to complete your custom creations.
After class, we'll kiln-fire your glass and assemble your finished jewelry using the findings you select. Your completed pieces will be ready for pickup at a later date.
No experience is necessary, and all materials, tools, glass, and standard jewelry findings are included. If you have a specific jewelry finding you'd like to use or require due to a metal allergy or other preference, please contact Olio with your request at least 5 days prior to class. We'll do our best to accommodate your request. An additional charge may apply for specialty findings.
Please wear closed-toe shoes for your safety while working with glass.

Beginner
Designed for adults and older teens. For safety reasons, children are not permitted in this class. -
Students must wear closed-toed shoes. No open drinks or food allowed in the work area during the class.
All glass arts students must sign Olio’s Glass Arts Studio Safety Agreement before class. Copies will be available for students.
