Part 2 :: Creative Clay Studio Time
Get creative with clay this holiday season and make a set of ten one-of-a-kind ceramic ornaments to decorate your tree or give as heartfelt handmade gifts!
In this festive, beginner-friendly workshop, instructor Mary Mertes will guide you through shaping and decorating ten ornaments using clay. Explore a variety of cookie cutters, molds, stamps, and textured rollers to create unique designs. Add personal touches, festive patterns, or meaningful details to make each ornament truly your own!
This is a two-part creative experience!
Part 1 – Create Your Ornaments (November 9): Shape, decorate, and personalize ten clay ornaments. Your creations will then be dried and prepared for their first kiln firing.
Part 2 – Glaze or Paint Your Ornaments: Once your ornaments are ready, Olio will notify you by text to return during Creative Clay Studio hours to add colorful glazes or paint. Choose a time that works for you:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 2:30–7:30 PM
Saturdays: 10 AM–2 PM
After decorating, Olio will complete the necessary kiln firing so your finished ornaments are ready for pickup in time for Christmas!
No prior clay experience is necessary. Come enjoy a little holiday creativity and make keepsakes you'll treasure for years to come!
