Create a one-of-a-kind piece of outdoor art with instructor Bonnie Dhein in this hands-on glass mosaic workshop!
Students will design and create a stunning garden stake using an approximate 3' x 1' piece of durable polycarbonate mounted to 10' black-finished rebar—perfect for adding color and personality to your landscaping or garden beds.
Using colorful stained glass pieces, you'll learn how to adhere and arrange your design onto the waterproof, weather-resistant surface for a finished piece built to last for years outdoors. Bonnie will guide students through the basics of cutting glass, though pre-cut stained glass pieces will also be available for those who prefer to focus on design and assembly.
Whether you’re an experienced maker or trying stained glass for the first time, this workshop is a fun and creative way to craft a unique statement piece you’ll be excited to “plant” in your yard for years to come!

Students must wear closed-toed shoes. No open drinks or food allowed in the work area during the class.
All glass arts students must sign Olio’s Glass Arts Studio Safety Agreement before class. Copies will be available for students.
