Barnscapes in Oil Paint with Bonnie Dhein

2-PART CLASS / SESSION #2

$75/person (bring your own quality oil paints) OR

$85/person (all materials included)

Part 1 :: Tuesday, September 1 // 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Part 2 :: Wednesday, September 2 // 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Celebrate the beauty of the countryside in this two-part landscape painting class with instructor Bonnie Dhein.

Students will create a 16" x 12" barnscape featuring a classic rural barn, open fields, trees, and a beautiful Wisconsin sky while learning techniques that bring depth, light, and atmosphere to a landscape painting.

Bonnie will guide participants step-by-step through the entire painting process, covering composition, color mixing, perspective, values, layering, and creating texture in weathered wood, grasses, and foliage. You'll also learn how to capture the character and charm of rural architecture while developing confidence with your brushwork.

Although Bonnie primarily demonstrates using oil paints, acrylic painters are welcome and can easily follow along using acrylics. Instruction will be individualized so artists working in either medium can be successful.

This class is perfect for beginners looking to explore landscape painting as well as experienced painters wanting to strengthen their skills. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a completed 16" x 12" barnscape ready to frame and display.

Materials: All other materials are included. Students choosing the $75 option must bring their own professional-quality oil paints.
