Open Pottery with Izzie Muehlenkamp

12:00 PM SESSION

$15 / hour per person

Saturday, June 6
12:00 – 2:00 pm

Open studio time for independent pottery work. Handbuilding, trimming, and glazing are welcome for all experience levels.

Please note: Pottery wheel use on Saturdays is limited to advanced throwers only, as staff are not available to provide wheel instruction during these sessions.

Activities in the pottery studio include using the pottery wheel (Intro to the Pottery Wheel course required), hand building with clay, and glazing pottery.

Only clay purchased at Olio or clay having prior instructor approval may be used. This will protect the kiln and others’ artwork during kiln firing.

Attendees are required to clean up their space after each use.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED First-come/first-served. Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm Thursday and indicate pottery wheel, hand-building with clay, trimming or glazing. Please specify if you plan to use the pottery wheel (experienced users only on Saturdays). If needed, please call in as far in advance as possible to cancel the reservation. An individual from the waiting list will be moved into the Open Studio.
