Discover the art of painting with wool in this fun, beginner-friendly needle felting workshop!
Who says you need paint to create a beautiful piece of art? Using colorful wool roving, a felting needle, and a wool “canvas,” you'll learn how to transform soft fibers into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Instructor Jeanne Weymouth will guide you through the basics of needle felting, including how to layer, blend, and shape wool fibers to bring your design to life. Have a picture or design in mind? Bring your inspiration! Not sure what to create? No worries! A variety of design ideas will be available to help spark your creativity.
Whether you're trying needle felting for the first time or looking to explore a new creative technique, this relaxed, hands-on workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn something new, experiment with color and texture, and have fun!
You'll leave with a finished, framed piece of wool art ready to display or give as a handmade gift.
Snacks: Feel free to bring a snack to enjoy during class!
