5:30 - 8:30 pm
Discover the art of stained glass in this hands-on beginner class! Unlike many stained glass classes, you'll learn the complete process from start to finish while creating your own beautiful butterfly window hanging.
Students will learn the fundamentals of stained glass, including how to safely cut glass, use essential stained glass tools, operate a grinder, and solder their project together. Choose from champagne pink glass or green textured glass for the wings, then search through our iridescent glass bin to find the perfect piece for your butterfly's body.
You'll also learn how to attach small hanging rings and chain so your finished butterfly is ready to display in a sunny window. Want to add a little extra personality? You may even choose to add wire antennae to your butterfly if you wish! Each participant will take home a suction cup for easy window display.
This class is designed specifically for beginners, so no prior experience is necessary.
Please wear closed-toe shoes to class.
You'll leave with:
One completed stained glass butterfly window hanging
Experience using a glass cutter, grinder, soldering iron, and other essential stained glass tools
Hanging chain and suction cup for display
The confidence to explore future stained glass projects
Come experience the magic of stained glass and create a beautiful piece you'll be proud to display or gift!
