Crafting a Legacy: Keep Creativity in Motion

For so many of us, a studio or craft room isn’t just a space — it’s a story. It holds late nights, messy experiments, big ideas, and half-finished projects waiting for their moment. We know deciding what happens to those meaningful tools and materials is deeply personal.

By including Olio in your will or estate plans, you’re making sure your supplies don’t sit quietly on a shelf — they continue creating. They become paint in a child’s first masterpiece, fabric in someone’s first sewn project, or the spark that reignites another artist’s passion.

Why It Matters

When you choose to pass your creative materials on to Olio, you’re giving more than “stuff.” You’re giving:

Opportunity
Access to quality materials for artists, families, and students who may not otherwise have them.

Sustainability
Keeping beautiful, usable supplies in circulation and out of the landfill — because creativity should never go to waste.

Momentum
Helping the next generation of makers discover what’s possible when they simply have the tools to begin.

Our Commitment To You

We understand that estate planning — and eventually settling an estate — can feel overwhelming for loved ones. Our team is here to make the process simple and respectful.

Clear Communication
We’ll work directly with your executor or family to coordinate details and timing.

Thoughtful Stewardship
Every item is handled with care and appreciation. We sort and redistribute materials intentionally so they can be used and loved again.

Community Impact
Supplies are directed into classes, youth programs, community projects, and the hands of local creatives.

  • If you would like to include Olio in your plans, you may share the following language with your attorney:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to Olio, located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, all my arts and crafts supplies, tools, and related materials to be used or distributed in accordance with their mission.”

You may also choose to include a monetary gift to support Olio’s ongoing programs or a specific creative initiative in your honor.

It takes a creative spirit to look at a lifetime of collected tools and see possibility instead of clutter. If you’ve spent years building your craft, your supplies are part of your story — and we would be honored to help that story continue.

Let’s keep creativity in motion — together.
